I am always happy and proud to read about successful people from my home country. This article focused on Esteban Gil Arcila and his lighting work in live events and with Maluma, a popular Colombian artist. There are very few people that I am aware of in the live event industry from Colombia, so to find someone whose interests and skills are not only what I'm interested in but also get them internationally recognized is very refreshing. I like what Esteban says about technology and innovation driving his design and choices. I believe that progressive tech will drive the event industry forward and be at the forefront of every project. For me, this also gives me hope that I can create a name for myself within the entertainment industry and continue Colombian representation in our field. I am excited to hear more from Esteban as he continues his work in the entertainment industry.
