This technology is now reaching certain levels of science fiction that 10 years ago seemed unachieveable, and it is exciting to see how this technology will continue to progress and the applications it will have worldwide. More exciting though is the potential advances this will produce for the theater industry, and while we will likely have to wait a few years for this product to develop more or even more years to able to afford the technology, it seems that this will become an incredibly useful tool to better incorporate video and media into scenery and props to further bring creative ideas to life and allow for more precise control of these effects. ‘Magical’ creations particularly within props could benefit significantly fron the use of these screens and provide exciting opportunities for more collaboration between departments in design and further suspend reality for the audience. Not only is this a marvel of engineering, it surely will be marveled at for years to come.
