Working with the elements always adds another layer of challenge because everything is so uncertain. Without good equipment, it is almost impossible to get a good quality sound and it is super interesting, for me at least, to read about how industry professionals deal with these challenges. I think that what Chris Bell said about investing in good quality equipment early on is super super important and spot on because it’s the good equipment that will last you a lot longer than cheaper quality equipment even if the good quality equipment is second hand. Another thing that popped out to me when reading the article was how being in a city affected the sound quality. I am almost positive all the skyscrapers and densely crowded buildings would have an affect on the sound quality and I think that is another reason why having good quality equipment is so important and it is good to know that Lectrosonics is a reliable brand.
