I really enjoyed reading this article because it highlights a very helpful and practical use for AI. In the performance industry many people were scared of AIs ability to recreate voice and video but that's all that was talked about. Nobody was talking about creating AI softwares that did menial and repetitive tasks that could speed up the production process. The technology talked about in this article would do exactly that. The article specifically looks at implementing this technology in news broadcasts and the ability to harness live updates. Theatrical performances operate in a similar live fashion meaning this AI software could be a fun thing to incorporate into video media design. Being able to edit and quickly manipulate live video footage correlates directly to theaters unpredictably and ever changing performances.
