Jonathan Anderson: Luca Guadagnino’s Costume Designer
Loud And Clear Reviews: Jonathan Anderson, much like Guadagnino, is a singular talent in the fashion industry. His creative vision has turned the fashion world on its head and he has made Loewe, a brand that was once dormant, the show to be at each fashion week. Collecting the most exciting names emerging across all creative channels as brand ambassadors and loyal Loewe devotees, the collaboration between Anderson and Guadagnino feels not just natural, but kismet.

I think this whole partnership is weird and frankly boring. I'm a little bit confused on why someone decided to write an article on this actually. Challengers and queer are both very mainstream and easily consumable movies that follow characters living mainstream and easily marketable and consumable lives. And that is okay!!!! It is the emotional dynamics and challenges the characters undergo through their interactions with one another. However because these costumes follow ordinary day people in a world that is meant to be just like ours, the costumes will be boring and simple. Objectively, that's great design, but boring design. I hate how when movies that are meant to be set in modern times, designers usually pull from larger or designer brands. It's all about little partnerships and ways to market. Why can't normal people wear normal clothes? And might I add… Why can't the clothes be a bit more flattering???
