IndieWire: The Writers Guild of America (WGA) formally begins negotiations today with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). Expect to hear a lot of talking points and to see a lot of finger pointing: It’s the writers vs. the studios, the little guy versus the corporations, and each will say why the other is to blame for a potential strike, one that would be the first since 2007.
