I am not going to lie, I am not the biggest sports fan and truly never understood the big whoop of the Super Bowl. Honestly, I usually tune in for the 10-ish minutes of halftime so I can watch whoever is performing. I simply don’t understand why they need to fill so many hours with sports for a concert! (jokes, jokes.) This year, however, I needed to work on my Susan project in the studio and it just happened to be on the projector. I watched most of the game, but Rihanna’s performance was most definitely the highlight of the whole night. It was amazing to me how Rihanna was able to stay so grounded and slaying on those platforms (slay, Bridget.) Rihanna floated many feet above the ground dancing amazingly, but doing so WHILE PREGNANT. She and the technicians supporting her performance continue to be icons and inspirations.
