Klein Rolling Tool Backpack

Pro Tool Reviews: Your choice of tool bag can be a more important decision than you might think, considering it’s something you probably use every day. You need one that’s the right size to carry all of your tools and equipment, but manageable enough to transport from job to job with relative ease.

Right off the bat I was disappointed with the review as Pro Tool Reviews often is very informational. For this backpack they just gave the specs and information I could easily find on the website or with a quick google search. I will say after seeing David’s backpack in class I was disappointed. Yes, whenever I hear ballistic weave I get excited (you never know if it will come in handy) but the bag looks awkward and heavy. I get the benefit of a rolling backpack, but in all likelihood if you are rolling your toolbag, you are doing it for a reason. Unless you decide to take less gear to your jobsite one day it seems beneficial to choose between something that rolls or a backpack. Additionally, going back to David’s backpack, his had compartments for every tool while this bag does not. It simply has outside pockets and a large inside pocket. It also appears that the leather on the bottom prevents it from opening completely so you would have to dig around inside of it, which is basically the same principle as a normal toolbag.
