I am really disappointed to see the direction this whole situation is headed. First off, the way the media has covered everything. Focusing on Alec Baldwin, instead of the death of Halyna Hutchins, or the issue of safety on film sets, is a real tragedy. This is not some tabloid story about the tortured soul of a celebrity, or whatever petty crimes they may have committed. Someone died, and running around yelling “sabotage!” diminishes that. The Among Us ‘sabotage’ image really doesn’t help. This feels like a really clear diversion of responsibility. If the armorer was doing their job, there would have been no opportunity for sabotage. Her lawyers are placing the blame on innocent workers who were walking out because they were UNSAFE, not because they wanted someone to die! We can’t let them feed off of the ruling class’ fear of class revolt and labor rebellion. This is a safety issue and the working class is the one at risk. Blaming them for this death for clickbait is incredibly irresponsible.
