Everything Changes...Or Does It? Balancing Modern Demands With The Essentials

Haha, a short and sweet article about how power and who has the real power behind a production (the people that build the weird things artist come up with) When I first started tech in high school I was able to get a little artist guidance from my teachers but I wasn't introduced to the more technical and engineering side of lighting until I started researching on my own. Luckily my dad is an engineer and so I had someone to ask about my fascination with the technology side of theater (my dad does know a lot about theater but he knows quite a bit about sound and power) Power is used by everyone, constantly! It's something that we seldomly think in-depth about (we are so used to knowing that if I plug this, into this, and this, into this, then my laptop won't die) and we forget how complex it is! I think that most people don't think very smartly about their energy consumption (I know that I don't always think about it but I do make sure that lights are turned off before I leave a room) I don't know if this goes along with the article but this is where my brain went
