The Wonderful Woman Behind Wonder Woman 1984’s Incredible Costume Design
SHEmazing!: It takes incredible skill and talent to nail the costume design for an entire feature-length film, and Lindy Hemming has done a fantastic job with Wonder Woman 1984's outfits.
Costume design may well be one of the most underrated aspects of film making, at least from the audience's perspective. This is because it is one of those elements of making a movie that viewers only really notice when it is poorly done.

This article was very short and lackluster. Although the little information it did have gave me some insight into the design of the film. I saw this film and something that stuck out to me is how modern Wonder woman looked throughout the whole film. She looked like she was from 2020, not 1980. I get that she is a modern woman, but the character would still be wrapped in all the fashion trends surrounding her and would try to fit in? I think some people think the eighties is only ugly clothing with bright prints, but if you look at the clothing that Nolan Miller created for Dynasty, it has all the flare a glamour of today. That being said everyone else in the film was pretty much good and it seemed pretty accurate. I think the biggest difficulty must have been making the armoured suits and stuff that they wore in the magical land where wonder woman is from.- Evan Riley
