Insight Productions Stays Busy On The Road With Clear-Com
ProSoundWeb: Like many live event companies over the past year, Insight Productions, a video production company based in Atlanta and Chattanooga, has adapted to remote work to complement its traditional on-site approach, and this hybrid approach supported with Clear-Com’s LQ Series of IP interfaces and Agent-IC Mobile App for quality communications between technical crews, clients and talent whether they’re in transit, at a venue or at home.

It's really quite funny to me that a major entertainment video production company was using (what is most likely) Discord for team communications until relatively recently. I guess it goes to show how powerful and reliable that platform is, since Insight Productions clearly had a lot of faith in its infrastructure during live event broadcasting. Clear-com was probably always the next step up, and is an industry standard for many, many fields of live entertainment. I had no idea, though, that they had an app and I think that's genius. As long as it's as reliable as their wireless or wired packs and connections, it would save companies a lot of money on actually purchasing the packs and headsets, because everyone's going to have a smartphone. The integration with the smart watches is also genius, and is a great way to take advantage of existing technologies that are increasingly ubiquitous.
