Datebook: When I entered the venue for Dragon Theatre’s “Party at the End of the World,” my “spawn point” was a lobby where house manager Alika U. Spencer-Koknar checked me in.
She took the form of a large-pixel avatar — the kind you might see in an old-school video game, like “The Legend of Zelda” — over which hovered a small video feed of her human self, on her bed with her dog.
