Activists Urge BTS To Cancel Concert In Saudi Arabia

While I do think that BTS should probably not have scheduled a concert in Saudi Arabia, given the issues with discrimination against women and LGBTQ+ people, I think that there isn't too large of a problem with them going through with it. Understandably, people are angry about the situation in Saudi Arabia, which is unforgivable, but this is a good opportunity to start change. Instead of cancelling the concert, they can use it to try and get the people of Saudi Arabia to be more open about other people. Additionally, this is likely a groundbreaking moment for the K-Pop group, to be the first solo foreign act to hold a stadium concert and that isn't something that they will want to give up. So the best solution now would probably be to go through with it and use it to try and move the mentality of the country, no matter how small the amount.
