NYTimes.com: Glen Kelly has no shortage of analogies to explain what he does as an arranger for such Broadway musicals as “Aladdin,” “Bullets Over Broadway” and “The Book of Mormon.”
“Arranging is to composing what back-seat driving is to driving,” said Mr. Kelly, in a characteristically self-effacing quip, delivered from the piano of his Manhattan apartment, where he recently illustrated the way he has embellished and repurposed music written by others, from Mel Brooks (“The Producers”) to Stephen Sondheim (“The Frogs”).

With Mr. Kelly he took something that he was passionate about and made it the view of what he like and wanted people to see him as. I also thinks it interesting how he could take different music and change it to his own and make it a hit again. He keeps surprising everyone with his views and work that he is making himself and the people around him happy. I think this is important because I think you perform better when you love what you are doing in your life. All the comments in the article are that Mr. Kelly is a go to person and I think that is important to know to work for someone to rely on that person. This shows that with a little hard work and dedication you can achieve anything you want to in life. He switches it up everything that he does to keep things interesting for the audience, I think that is interesting and exciting so you don’t know what you are going to get from things when you see them.
