After seeing the technical rehearsal of this show today I can say that it truly lived up to my expectations. It was an amazing spectacle in every way. The giant dinosaurs were outstanding. The detail that went into making each puppet was incredible and the puppeteers of them did an outstanding job. It looked so realistic that I may have actually believed that they were the real things a few times. The way they moved around the stage and interacted with each other and the singular actor was amazing. In addition to the extremely well made puppets, the lighting design was also very well done. It utilized a very large number of breakup patters and saturated colors to create the environment of these time periods along with heavy atmospheric effects and a wonderful exotic sound design. Another part of the show that really stood out was the elaborately painted deck. It looked amazing under the lighting and had an incredibly pattern that just gave off a prehistoric vibe. All in all I thought the show was amazing and I would recommend that everyone go and see it.
