Variety: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences will present 145 pieces of film history in the exhibition Hollywood Costume, which is the organization’s first, and probably last, show at the May Co. space.
The show, running Oct. 2-March 2, includes works representing 25 Oscar winners for costume design, as well as such notable pieces as the original ruby slippers from “The Wizard of Oz” (Adrian, 1939), which the Academy hails as “the most famous shoes in the world.”
