Top Costumes of the Year 2013 |
clothesonfilm.com: With just so many memorable movies and TV shows to cover, Clothes on Film asked some respected contributors to the site for their opinions on the best, along with a few big name costume designers currently working in the business. Basically anything goes here: pick an entire film, specific outfit, or character – just so long as someone at some point wears clothes.

All of the articles are about the top thing of last year I find really interesting. What is interesting about this one is the range of different costumes that are presented. What this article does a really good job in showing is that period costumes (like the ones in the Great Gatsby) still have potential to be innovative and beautiful while still staying in period. It is also really cool to see something that is of an older style being put up against something very new and futuristic (like the Hunger Games). This really makes the reader realize how much clothing impacts a character.
