RC4 Wireless and Stage Directions Announce Finalists for Wireless Automation Challenge
Stage Directions: RC4 Wireless and Stage Directions are pleased to announce the finalists in the Stage Directions RC4 Wireless Automation Challenge. The three finalist teams are: Kate Dalo, Nick Bonsell and Dan Albright from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music; Steve Hnath, Alex Owens, Scott Billik, Derek Miller and Randy McAbee from Purdue University; Patricia Goebel, Kaleb Krahn, Adam Raine, Logan Schoenbaechler, Christopher Stepanek, Adam Terry and Christopher Winnemann from the University of Missouri, Kansas City Graduate Theatre Dept. The three teams will be supplied with all the RC6 Wireless Motion gear they need to realize their designs for wireless, mobile stage wagons. At the upcoming USITT show in Fort Worth the teams will compete and the judges will determine who built the best platform—the winning team will take home all the RC6 Wireless Motion gear, worth approximately $10,000.

No CMU respresentation? Shame. RC4 and RC6 are really taking off in the industry. Definitely worth having a look at.
We talked about it. The calendar didn't work well for us.
