Daddy Long Legs Musical, With Megan McGinnis and Robert Adelman Hancock, Will Have NYC Industry Presentation
Playbill.com: Producers Ken Davenport (Kinky Boots, Macbeth, Godspell) and Michael Jackowitz (How To Succeed in Business..., Seance on a Wet Afternoon) are presenting the readings of the musical by Tony Award-nominated composer-lyricist Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre) and Tony-winning librettist-director John Caird (a Tony winner for Les Miserables), based on the 1912 novel by Jean Webster. Gordon and Caird previously collaborated on the Broadway musical Jane Eyre.

This sounds like a really cool show, I love two man shows, I think they bring out the creativity in the audience members. For me at least, the smaller the cast the more my imagination works for the show and the more attentive I am during the performance. It is a much different experience than having a cast of 50 putting on a classic musical. I go nuts when shows have an invisible character, in this case it would be Daddy Long Legs. I think it is very cool when writers are able to make a full character without ever putting a face to it, leaving another factor to the audiences' imagination. I am still not sure how I feel about the musical part...
