Wow! This is definitely a musical I hope I get to see. There has been so much talk about this production, and it is finally getting close to its opening. It will be quite interesting to see if audiences see the hope and optimism that they talk about here, or if the audiences will just not be able to get past the crude humor that is also talked about. Of course, there will be many who get extremely offended, but it's important to keep in mind that the creators of South Park insult everyone, and not just one religion or group of people. This article says that the musical will not fall short of expectations, and I hope this is the truth.

it's good to see more and more television and film and theatre artists jumping mediums with their work. in these days not only is that a show of great talent but it is also necessary in some ways to be successful in your field. entertainment will always be an important part of american culture and with more and more [people in the business the more artists are having to adapt and it is good to see talents who have brought some of the most obscene satiric work from television then eventually film is now on the stage. im looking forward to seeing how this works out . when trey parker adapted thier hit show south park from television to musical in film it was hugely successful so it will be intriguing to see how the broadway scene treats them.
