Tait Towers Builds The Video Music Awards

LiveDesign: "Ambitious by any measure, the total transformation of New York's iconic Radio City Music Hall for this year's Video Music Awards (VMAs) on September 13 was nothing short of breathtaking. With the auditorium floor cleared of seats and replaced with towering structures that flanked the walls, the resulting image was a potent blend of New York brownstone and the wedding cake tiered balconies of Milan's La Scala opera house"

It always amazes me when concerts and big events like the VMAs happen because its such an extreme and meticulous yet quick transformation of a venue within such a short period of time, it must be amazing to be the artistic director of such projects since extravagance and expenses are limitless and ultimately, really gives a lot of freedom to the designer, I think it would be really cool to work at a company like Stufish that covers such a range of work from theatre to concerts, from the superbowl to cirque de soleil, all the events they produce are such amazing visual eye candy and out of this world

this was rill cool in that the way that every thing works. i looks so amazing and the designer was not limiteds it seems un like in many productions when they are lined by money, time, and skills. this is just amazing in what they did and can do. also they simmed to bare no limit to the expense that they could spend on this show. also the time that it took them to install every thing seemed to be amazing and fast and that they got it installed in recored time and was now working till the last min. all i have to say is that they planed way ahed of the ball and made every thing amazing will. i would have loved to see this in person
