PAula is working on a stage musical about hiphop? Ugh oh. This sounds awful. It sounds like she picked something popular in culture: hiphop. And then found a story about the pioneers. Not really sure how well this will translate onstage. Sounds like a big loud rock show to me. I hope it is serious and songs are not thrown in to just be songs and have dancing. IT should flow. Although I am excited to see how it turns out. And how Miss Saigon turns out to. IT is hard to take such a huge musical and transform it to fit on a stage.

It's very interesting to hear about what our recent VIP guest is up to in her professional life. When she visits, we are very careful to ask her about her CMU experience and how it made her who she is and how it was helpful in her career...blah blah. A film version of "Miss Saigon" is a HUGE undertaking. I am not familiar with this show at all, but I might go see it on the big screen if this ends up happening... and to agree with Bryce: a stage musical about Run-DMC? Maybe not such a good idea. She said she was trying to get back to her theatre roots, but we'll see where this goes.
