NEA Chairman Landesman Will Travel Country Taking Pulse of Arts in Communities

The places on his "tour" seem interestingly chosen, i wonder how that process worked. But i am glad to see his first stop is in fact Peoria. Hopefully, he will see that its not the powerhouse that deserve more money, but perhaps smaller areas, such as peoria, who need funding to create better, more innovative art. Also, I really like that the blog is going live around the same time. Having people take pics of their art and sculptures might give Landesman an idea of other ways/areas that should receive some NEA funding....
