This is great to hear. After reporting on the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater in Susan Tsu's class it is nice to know the PBT is getting its act together after the many finacial troubles they have faced the past few years.

The orchestra went on strike a few years ago after not being used by the PBT. And I have to say live music is much better, after seeing the ballet and hearing them play this past saturday. They played perfectly and without an audible inaccuries.

The only thing I question is how hard he is fighting for live music in the other three productions. For a conductor how could he just stand around and be okay that the other three productions are using recorded music. I wonder if there will be an announcement of a live orchestra as the other's opening draws closer.
