What Does Milwaukee Tool's Limited Warranty Mean And What Isn't Covered?

www.slashgear.com: Though not all of its tools are made in Wisconsin these days, Milwaukee Tools remains one of the most notable names in the tool game. In fact, the brand has spent the better part of the past decade building a reputation for manufacturing a lineup of hand tools, power tools, and storage gear known for being as tough and reliable as they are innovative.

I think that articles like this can be very important for familiarizing yourself with brands, as well as practical reasons. Among all purchasing audiences, those who purchase tools are perhaps the ones most prone brand loyalty. Ask anyone who has been using tools for a while what brand they love, and you will undoubtedly receive an answer almost immediately. What's really interesting is if you ask why they prefer that brand. Some people like brands because they are good at specific things, like Festool making adaptable precision tools. Others inherited their brand preference from parents or mentors (these tend to be the DeFault lovers). Personally, I am a fan of high performance, durable tools, and am willing to sacrifice weight and a little bit of money to make it happen. However, smaller things like this are also important in deciding if you would like to commit to a brand. While generally I am a fan of Milwaukee, I wish they had a wider warranty coverage.
