HowlRound Theatre Commons: I don’t go to many festivals, nor do I review even half as much as I used to. But when I do go, shadows of the shows remain imprinted in my memory months, years later: a word said a particular way, a light slanting through an open door, the way a particular actor stands gazing out from the stage at the audience as the curtain rises.
