Pro Tool Reviews: When you finally find a screwdriver set that fits your hand perfectly, it’s a special moment. But even the perfect design has limited productivity compared to one of the best electric screwdriver models. Since they’re relatively affordable, cordless screwdrivers can be a smart purchase for both Pros and DIYers. In this guide, I’ll share my favorite models, break down the different types, and shine a light on what to look for while you’re shopping.

If there's one thing I love, it's tool reviews. I personally don't have much experience with electric screwdrivers, it is just a tool that I have never needed. Their cost to purchase compared to how much use I would get out of them was too wide a gap. However, if I ever decide to buy one, this article would help in making that decision. Let's start off with the necessary smack-talking of DeWalt. The author raves about the "innovative" design of DeWalt's electric screwdriver, which has you push a sleeve towards the tip of the tool in order to activate the mechanism. However, anyone with an ounce of critical thinking can see that if you are ever unscrewing, once your screw is most of the way out it's gonna tip over and you are going to slam your tool into the wall. While somebody could theoretically stop near the end of unscrewing and manually twist, that would cause the problem that is attempting to be avoided by using an electric screwdriver, and some screws you can't be sure how long they are. I did however really like the electric screwdriver recommended for electronics. The Fanttik electric screwdriver kit is sleek and has a lot of nice features. It is usb-c rechargeable which is very convenient. The case also has a "magnetization zone" which you can use to magnetize the tip of your electric screwdriver. Genius! This is one of two tools that I have added to my amazon wish list because of one of these articles.

The Idea of an electric screwdriver has always interested me, especially when I was younger because I always just asked “why not use a drill?” I came to understand that they are supposedly better for smaller projects, specifically DIY and little things around the house. This concept is foreign to me because I have alway just used a drill or when I did not have a drill I used a screwdriver. The projects my family did were never really anything complex or complicated, but occasionally they required a drill. Even some premade furniture requires a drill for assembly and not an electric screwdriver so again I am really not sure what they are for. That being said, the article did offer some interesting choices and a good variety of size and power. However, in my opinion, if you need a screwdriver use a screwdriver and if you need more power use a drill.

Look. An electric screw driver sounds great and all but how much time does it really save over a simple ratcheting one. I like the concept and all but we have electric drills and screw guns but the little handheld electric screwdrivers haven’t appealed to me yet. I’ve seen them time and time again on tiktok or YouTube and honestly it doesn’t seem that helpful. It makes removing a shit ton of screws less of a repetitive motion I guess but for the average person a handheld screwdriver is gonna be much more convenient. I don’t see a world where I would take the motor over a ratchet. I have a ratcheting screw driver and I like it quite a bit. It works well and I've been happy with it. It can have as much force as I want to put into it and as little as I can too. It allows for precision and I think that’s why the electric ones turn me away because it makes it a lot harder to use precisely which is kind of the whole point of a precision screw driver
