'Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ Set Visit: What We Learned
www.indiewire.com: IndieWire recently traveled to Aardman Animations in Bristol, England, during the last week of shooting “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,” the stop-motion studio’s second animated feature from its flagship franchise. Netflix, which dropped a new trailer (see below), has qualified the film for Best Animated Feature Oscar consideration ahead of its streaming premiere on January 3, 2025.

Having just watched Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, a new movie coming out so soon, sounds like a treat. The new movie looks like it still rides off the charm of Claymation in an increasingly digital world. Aardman shorts and media posts are charming in the way that you can see the touch of their creators in the clay through their impressions and fingerprints. The movie speaks a lot about the creators and Aardman specifically because they have stayed with the Claymation & kept the same clay and silicone production alive. The nostalgia of the Wallace and Gromit movies and shorts brings you back to an earlier time. It is clear why The Curse of the Were-Rabbit was able to win an Oscar, it is because of their dedication to their craft, and I look forward to watching the movie, Vengeance Most Fowl, and their Oscar winning, hopefully.
