Something I love in Florida is when theme parks decorate for holidays. At Disney, they transform the park overnight Oct.31-Nov.1 and it's magically Christmas. It's so beautiful to see, it's my favorite time of the year to go to the theme parks. They also have multiple Christmas events, including Candlelight performances at Epcot with celebrity guest hosts. My high school was invited to perform each year and it was always a lovely event. Theme park magic + Christmas magic is such a wonderful thing to experience. SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Universal of course decorate for Christmas as well and it's so fun.
Fun fact: during the holiday season it still doesn't get very cold in Florida. One of my favorite things to tell people that always surprises them is that my family and I once went to a water park on New Year's Day. (It was a bit chilly but I was happily swimming). Funny enough, it was Disney's Blizzard Beach water park so it always looks like winter, but they are generally open most of the year because it doesn't get that cold down there.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS
