Personally, I am working on minimizing distractions and getting lost in the little tasks that keep me from focusing on harder or more important tasks. Getting away from productive procrastination can be very hard. You feel like you are doing something worth your time, but 2-3 hours later and no concrete tasks (except maybe a clear email inbox) completed can make you feel productive but really did you do something meaningful with your day? Being responsive and getting information out to other people is a good thing typically but is the quality of the content you are sending out good? I think it is important to set aside time to read and respond rather than doing it constantly throughout the day. I know that I get drained when all I do is constantly stumble through my phone going back and forth from my social media platforms, email, text, and phone calls. It is good to be connected but it doesn't need to be your main priority to be available at all times.
