It's so exciting to see Cirque coming back after their long time of financial hardship and uncertainty. I think we all knew their return was inevitable or at least hoped it was but I definitely had a lot of anxiety about whether Cirque was ever going to recover back when the pandemic started and they started laying off their performers and staff en masse. As someone who has wanted to work for Cirque for a while now, it was kind of scary to see one of the major players in why I went into this profession talk about bankruptcy. I'm curious to see how the new management affects the products Cirque puts out in the coming shows and hope they end up opening their other closed shows around the world. Cirque is such a staple in the entertainment industry, or at least in my eyes so I'm excited to see them start back up and hopefully flourish.
