I think that resuming safely in the fall is definitely a possibility. The fact of the matter depends on vaccine distribution and how safe people act. I am very suspicious and scared that once many people are vaccinated, they will act like the pandemic is completely gone or that they are completely immune and return prematurely to normal life. This may cause a spike in cases around the fall. However, I do think that theaters indoors can definitely be made possible if the actors on stage are tested and safe, there is plenty of space between the audience and the stage, and plenty of space between the audience members. Also, there would need to be proper air circulation constantly filtering out the room. In this sense, where we are still taking safe measures even with good vaccine distribution, will resuming productions safely in the fall be possible. It is definitely a community effort in implementing and understanding the measures that must be taken.
