Something that really caught my eye about this article was the word “immersive”. Recently, I’ve been trying to find some fun ways to explore new cities other than just going to museums and sightseeing. Immersive activities are a fun way to spend time with your friends and experience something you never have before. I thought the idea of people walking around this installation and making their mark was a really fun and memorable idea. It creates an attachment between the art and the person while creating a memorable experience. Something that was interesting was that the artist wanted to make it clear to the client that the spray paint represented expression and artistic freedom rather than the common assumption that graffiti is rebellious. Graffiti always has a negative connotation attached to it and I think that it's an underrated form of art. It’s different and new that an artist chose that medium and that has his main focus in art.

This is a great example of another really cool media project. Amazing things are being done daily with media design. It seems like every time I read an article about media it is as if someone did something that had never been done before. I love the uniqueness of the Guiness project. It just genuinely looks like something very cool. I really want to go to this location and see how the paint can to the wall actually works. There is so many different types of technology used in a project like this. That is what is really cool about media and theatre technology as a whole. We take a whole bunch of new technologies that may have never been intended for theater and we apply them in a way that will work for our design. I love that about media because it is so widely used among many industries.
