Okay, this is something I can honestly get behind. I've been working with the 2019 version of Vectorworks for the past week or two, and I can say that they have made significant improvements in the layers and class sorting system. This stems from an issue I went to them to talk about last year where when you had any significant number of layers or classes it became difficult to navigate when not using the main pop-out navigation window. This is rarely an issue with designers who usually only have one layer and a few sheet layers, but when doing technical design, the numbers of sheets for a whole show reached quickly into the high 80 -100 and thus cause significant navigation issues. I approached them at USITT this past year and was happy to see this change roll out. The second major thing was the launch of Braceworks which looks heavily at structures in many truss and rigging situations and produces incredibly accurate stress analyses and load calculations.
