Public Theater plans all-American lineup for 2012-13

post-gazette: A half-dozen theaterworks that were born in the USA, starting with the Garson Kanin comedy "Born Yesterday" and including the return of "The Chief," give Pittsburgh Public Theater's 2012-13 season its patriotic theme, "Made in America."

This is a great season. It provides both new and old shows for audiences. It is also really nice to have two Tony nominated shows in a season. This will expose Pittsburghers to brand new cutting edge theater. Tickets sales will also probably see a boost because people want to see these new shows. I think it is also cute how the public "themes" each of their seasons. This really connects all the shows together, and also make a great marketing tool. The slogan also is really catches the public's attention because of the whole buy American/support america thing that is going on.
