Multitalented Middlesex grandmother inspired to write musical

How hilarious! I feel a little bad that there are probably a few devoted souls taking this completely seriously, but really? That's just fun. It's great that she was inspired to do something, and while it may never be a Broadway musical, it sure would be an entertaining night out. I think it's easy to forget that to those who don't attend a drama conservatory like CMU, "making it" isn't always such a big deal. There are people who have fun with theatre without it being their primary interest and source of income. And that's great in a different sort of way.
I really liked this article. I thought of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" while I was reading the article and then it did compare the two as similar. Jeannie Allen seems pretty talented and she has God on her side so who knows where this show may go! I love that she has a job she loves but this was like a calling for her. I also love that it has a message which always helps a show. She seems like an inspiration to follow your dreams no matter where you are in life. I think having her being an ordained minister will bring her passion of religion and music together for what I wish to be a great show. Her proceeds of the first show going for mission trips is a wonderful expression of her giving nature.
