I'm genuinely glad that this is fair game and I get to make it one of my news comments. And yet, I'm not sure I have the right words. So I'll just give it a Facebook like and leave, because our underfunded drama program needs this console!!!!!!!!!
I also agree with Kassondra, the School of Drama is woefully underfunded and could really use the extra resources that this could bring in for us. I'm glad that everyone took this so seriously. I am personally working on Sweeney as a spot op, and often, I find myself sitting in the cagey booms in house, behind my spot, wishing I had more cues coming my way, or maybe that we had a greater variety of lights to control the illumination of the stage. It's sad, really, the tiny amount of money that goes into our lighting department here.
