Scientific theories inspire Armitage Gone! Dance
Post Gazette: Choreographer Karole Armitage's background in dance is far-reaching. Work with pop greats Michael Jackson and Madonna to top troupes such as Paris Opera Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Washington Ballet are just some of the collaborations that dot her resume.

Personally, I think that it is incredible that this choreographer is able to pick parts of different studies, like science and evolution, and apply it to her work. It is already impressive that she has such a variety to her dancing experience and skill sets, this just continues her creativity.
What is really important about dance is the universal qualities that it has. Dance is something that conveys a mood or sends a message. In that respect, it makes sense that the dancing would be tied to the big bang and evolution.
