Artists invited to design ballet pointe shoes
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre is inviting local professional artists to turn pointe shoes into works of art as part of the company's 40th anniversary presentation of 'Swan Lake.'"

This is a very cool way for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre to honor the 40th anniversary presentation of "Swan Lake." Hopefully there will be a follow up article displaying the final designs chosen. I will definitely pass this on to the design students of my class as it would be very cool for a CMU student or two to have their art displayed at "Swan Lake."
