Music, costume, and dance: Students gather for Greek Sing

The Tartan Online: "For students and faculty members alike, Greek Sing is often acclaimed as the most anticipated event of the school year. This reputation has been rightfully earned, as the members of Carnegie Mellon’s various fraternities and sororities often dedicate hours upon hours of their time to building sets, learning songs, and choreographing dance routines to prepare for this stunning show."

Greek Sing is quite the event on campus. It is fascinating to see students who would not necessarily be a part of theater in their daily lives take part in this relatively elaborate performance. It is always impressive to see what students can pull off in situations like this. It goes to show that theater is a powerful art form, and that people can do it even if they are not well educated in this field. Its important for designers, actors, and directors to realize this..
