“NOW WHAT? READY, SET, PRODUCE!” Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Point Park University
Pittsburgh Art + Technology: "The public is invited to join our finalists as they make their presentations in simulated pre-production meetings to review issues such as locations, casting, budgets, licensing, technical issues and more. At the discretion of the judges, one, two or even all three finalists could go away that day as winners."

What a fantastic way to learn the process pre filming production. The panel will be interesting to attend, just to see what the complete steps that these people had to go through in order to be one of the three finalists. One can only hope that after all this work there is some pay off, although that is rarely the case in the real world. Still, even if all three get the prize, $25,000 divided between three groups is barely enough to film a very short film.
