I can't believe Universal has made a Harry Potter theme park. It seems so crazy. I have never read any of the books, only seen some of the movies, once they came out on dvd. The craze of Harry Potter escapes me. But since there is such a crazy I can understand Universal wanting to profit from it. It will be interesting to see the response the park gets from fans once it opens, whether it will be embraced or hated. Hopefully all will be finished and ready when opening day comes!
Oh man, so I am really happy that Katherine said that because I was going to open with how I only ever read the first three books and have only seen a few of the movies, and every time I tell someone that they act like I am some sort of pariah. I never got on the Harry Potter bandwagon like most but I always liked the books, they just were never that big of a deal to me. However, this Universal park for Harry Potter is pretty cool looking. From the pictures that I have seen it seems really intensive and intricate, which in and of itself is impressive. Like Katherine said it is understandable that Universal wants to make a profit from Harry Potter, and they will make some serious money from this undoubtedly. I might make it sometime in the future to see it, if only to experience it once, but I know many people who truly will probably try to be there opening day.
