The Hardware Aisle: "If you're about to start any projects that are going to require lumber, like say a framing walls or a building a pull-down attic staircase, you might want to hold off a bit."
I have never thought of the price of lumber before. However, now that I am taking the class, "Scenic Fabrication..." this news makes me concerned.
While the reason is similar to that of market price of food, it makes me more worried when I think globally about the fact that how weather affects the growth of natural resources. Now, it is still a minor case while we only discuss the price surge. What if we have completely used up the trees on the earth? This article is a good reminder to me that lumber is not unlimited.
