2025 Creative Arts Emmys Winners List Night Two
www.hollywoodreporter.com: Jimmy Kimmel, Alan Cumming, Barack Obama and SNL50: The Anniversary Special were among the many winners during the second night of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys.
The annual two-day event, which took place the weekend before the Primetime Emmys, handed out dozens of awards to mostly below-the-line categories. Awards announced on Sunday spanned variety programming, nonfiction and reality sectors.

When I saw the name “Barak Obama” listed as a winner for this article talking about the 2025 Creative Emmy Awards, I was a little flabbergasted to say the least. The description of the specific award he won was as “best narrator” for Our Oceans. I had no idea Barak Obama had received any creative art awards, or even that he had participated much in the creative arts as a whole. It turns out that this award is in fact the THIRD Emmy he’s recived. Personally, I’m happy that a former President such as himself is involved in the arts, however I also think that it is in a sense quite problematic with the current political state of the United States. In such a dire time as this, for one of the most “impactful” things a former United States President to have done this year was win an Emmy as best narrator for a film series, is discomforting to me at least.
