I am intrigued by the concept of taking a whole series and turning it into a musical. I feel like there have been a lot of adaptations in the past tenish years and there are some that I feel work better than others. A lot of the time I feel like people are creating these adaptations because of the money and the popularity of the name while not really caring about the actual work. I hope that this adaptation of The Baby-Sitters Club not only takes into account the fanbase, but also makes it its own thing. I will say, taking the character and making them older will really appeal to those who were fans of the stories as kids. It can be fun and fulfilling to see characters you love grow up with you and keep facing the same issues that you are facing that have, of course, changed while you grew.
