Theater Team Reunites for ‘Witch’ Event at Carnegie Stage
onStage Pittsburgh: When Witch arrives at Carnegie Stage on March 7, it will mark seven years since the team behind the drama Orphans have presented a follow-up theatrical event.
Just as before, actor Max Pavel brought a play to Ken Bolden, his former teacher at the University of Pittsburgh, and they have recruited Ingrid Sonnichsen to direct. Missing the reunion of what was called Aftershock Theatre in 2018, is Dylan Marquis Meyers, currently among the stars of Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

I've seen a bunch of posters for which around the school drama but I've never seen the show. I think it's super cool that the team is reuniting at Carnegie stage and I think it'd be really interesting to go and see what they are doing. reunions are always super fun cuz you can kind of play with the script you had to work with and have fun with it so I think the idea of this reunion is super cool. Looking at their marketing and promotional content it also looked really cool and really creepy so I'm interested in seeing what this performance might look like given I've ever seen this show before. And they're also some really big names like Jen Silverman. I always hear her name a lot so I think exposing myself to new works would be a good idea and a good way to spend a weekend in Pittsburgh.
