Everything Ghost Forest Touches, It Changes
HowlRound Theatre Commons: Loosely inspired by “A White Heron,” a short story by Sarah Orne Jewett, Ghost Forest follows Sylvy, a young woman who has never broken out of the comforts of her routine. When the opportunity for adventure arises, she goes on a quest to find a heron that is the last of its species. “Sylvy finds herself in the midst of a rapidly disappearing forest at odds with the sea and must grapple with the question—and consequences—of her own inaction.”
