It's incredibly impressive to bring together a project of this scale, and to break a record while doing so. This would be a really fun project that I would love to work on. I can imagine that from an audience's perspective it would be really awesome to be faced with such a large screen, and from a designer's perspective, the opportunities are endless. You could open so many doors and possibilities with an LED screen of that size. It must have been a monster to assemble, and I'm sure it took a large team to troubleshoot every issue that they might encounter before they got to the assembly stage.

This is a really cool record to have been set! There’s so much innovation in temporary installations like this and I love seeing people pushing the bounds of what we as an industry consider to be possible in this kind of scenario. As this article alludes to, it is the innovation that is driving our industry forward that is really inspiring and groundbreaking in its own way and that spark is really what continues to let us see advancements like this one. As with every element of technology, I can only imagine that there were plenty of troubleshooting and a-ha moments to be had, and I’m sure the power draw of this LED screen in terms of it being a temporary outdoor installation was a bit of a headache, but the success they achieved is incredible. Kudos to the whole team on this project, I will always be curious to see how we continue to progress this kind of technology.
