I got to go to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this past year and I absolutely loved it! It makes me so happy to hear that this amazing theatre festival plans to continue contributing to its community and the world. It was interesting to hear that a Masters in Arts Administration and Education is a degree, and I think that it is really cool. The business side of art is such a different flavor of business that it really does need its own category under the broader umbrella of business. I would be curious to learn more about the specifics of the business side of art. Gabriella Calicchio seems to be a perfect fit for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and I am glad to hear she intends to continue to help them create innovative shows that go beyond what currently exists and moves theatre towards what could possibly exist. I look forward to seeing many more seasons from this organization.
